Burnt Toast Self Catering Holiday Cottage
Situated in the tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha, Burnt Toast Cottage is a very pretty detached cottage, perched on the top of the cliffs above Lamorna Cove.
With its slate roof Burnt Toast Cottage was built from local granite in the late 1800’s and has undergone a complete and sympathetic refurbishment in 2007. With every modern appliance, this double glazed sash windowed property has been restored to the highest standard whilst retaining original features such as pine and granite beams.
Kemyel Wartha near Lamorna Cove
Far from any main road, the hamlet is to be found at the end of a long track. There is no pollution from light or noise apart from the sound of the sea breaking on the rocks in the cove below. Enjoying complete tranquility, this Kemyel Wartha is a real retreat - just the place to get away from it all and relax. At night it is quite lovely to just to watch the twinkling lights of the passing boats or to just sit at the garden table looking up at the stars.
Burnt Toast Cottage is the last of the four cottages in the hamlet and is situated very close to the footpath leading down from Kemyel Wartha to the Cove. There are open fields to the front and side of the house. Behind the five bar gate to the rear of the property there is a walled graveled parking area for about 6 cars.
